Although the conversation was quite annoying, this is what you get when you have two people that disagree on the basics, how to interpret language, the assumptions we have about political figures etc. It shows us where we differ and that the other side ia not crazy, only has different (maybe il informed) assumptions. Black was claiming that Trump saying that some of the illegals crossing the border are "fine people" means something about what Trump said about Charlottesville. I could not figure out what that was supposed to mean. Is Black equating the illegals with Nazis, and therefore Trump could be understood to be saying Nazis are fine people? Made no sense.

Seems Scott's plan was to convince him he was an expert. Either complete gaslight or 7 year old. Can you imagine this guy doesn't know about the very fine people scam? Not likely. That would send anyone in a spin.

I don't know how many times I've listened to Scott criticize his audience for their dumb comments. I don't think he realized that at least they were giving him their honest opinion. He's fumbling because he expects his guest to be honest. I stopped to look up the campaign video his guest is for some bizarre reason simultaneously trying to pretend doesn't demonstrate Scott's point while also insisting that it should be because it must be interpreted in light of other "racist" remarks which make the claim against Trump accurate. Advocates always try to have it both ways, and Scott should have been prepared for that tactic. If he'd spent a bunch of time arguing with fundamentalists he might have been prepared, but it's so off-putting when it actually happens that it's hard to recognize the two contradictory points being argued. His argument is that if Biden didn't use the precise words in the precise order, then the news didn't make a false or misleading story AND it's not a false or misleading story despite the fact that Trump very clearly did not say anything like the story. There's cognitive dissonance perhaps, but it's clearly dishonest and seems to have caught Scott flat footed. Too bad. Once you start to fall down those stairs it's really difficult to recover.

This is exactly why actors should never be heard from outside of their role in whichever movie, play or show they are working in. It results in never being able to see that actor as a character ever again. 99% of the time it results in a complete disappointment. Why didn't we hear about MIB's qualifications in debating these topics and the news in general? Actor is no qualification, except for pretending to be someone you are not.

MIB wants the specific quote that Biden said that Trump said that Nazis are very fine people. But in the next sentence, FJB goes into histrionics about the horrible, vein bulging haters, and that Trump said about them that there were "very fine people on both sides". Despite not being an exact quote, that is clearly the implication, and FJB and the fraud media ran with it. If MIB can't see that, then he's just another common dem wack job.

The only reason we hear about "fine people on both sides" is because they are claiming trump called nazis fine people. If Trump just called a bunch of nice people "fine people" nobody would report on it or care.

The "No he did not" that Biden says at 1:00:29 refers to Trump condemning the neo-Nazis. Biden was denying that Trump condemned them. Michael misunderstood what Biden said. And Michael thinks that when Biden says, "Let's get this straight," that's Biden's words. But Biden is inaccurately quoting Trump. Trump never said, "Let's get this straight." Michael completely misunderstood what was going on in that clip.
